Day 1 of the OFFICIAL SUMMER VACATION - yippee!!!
Had the BEST weekend. Saw Carrie Chesnutt at Gladaman's Den (I didn't realize how much I missed her music until I saw her again - gorgeous gal and talent *MWAH*) and also attended the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition for all 3 days. Got caught up with some artsy pals and made a few new ones. Also bought a fun Toronto bracelet http://www.lajonesjewelry.com/ that has vintage landmarks like 1050 CHUM, Sam the Record Man, and CITY-TV. Got a couple of fun b/w ink drawings, a t-shirt from the show last year, and a chartreuse ring from artist Tara Gilchrist http://www.etsy.com/shop/taragilchrist?ref=seller_info - wonderful show!
So first day off work is always overwhelming. Have to unwind before I unwind! Weather will be mixed this week but that's cool. Rainy days = movies and sunny ones = photography, shopping, relaxing, and walking. Plus doing some of that touristy stuff - AGO, ROM, zoo, etc.
Time to get going but I'll be back tomorrow. Have an amazing Monday!!
