The Outer Limits
Hiya Gentle Reader!
Wednesday is here with rain on the way. No complaints though - my hair seems to be having fun!
When I write up my list of goals, I always add one that is SO BIG that it seems even wild and crazy to me. You already know that I'm "waaaay out there!!" Here's the interesting thing....nine times out of ten, I achieve it. Sometimes not exactly as planned but the result is the same. Sometimes it encourages me to try other projects that I may have never even thought about before. You know, if you can do A then CERTAINLY B will no problem....
That kind of challenge makes me happy. Gets me outside my normal zone-o-comfort which is really REALLY good.
Doesn't hurt to just put it on paper, or a few ideas or maybe even an entire list. Everything is safe on paper, right?
You'll know when you get outside that comfort zone when the goal you write down makes you a bit anxious. You might even want to erase or cross it out. However, please don't. That's your subconscious telling you that you want more out of life, NEED more. If you don't act on it now, that idea will resurface again and again. Like the Genie in the bottle, once it's out, it is out!
That's very positive though! You will find that you will feel much better once you get those fabulous ideas out of your head and onto paper. Trust me. You'll sleep sounder too!
Tomorrow we'll discuss what to do now that the ideas have been set free!
Until Thursday.
Linda
