Shredding Queen

Hiya Gentle Reader,

Thursday and another record breaking day in the weather department.  No complaints as I love the sun and heat.  Everyone is grinning A LOT in the neighbourhood.  All fabulous!

Organized lots of my paperwork today.  Ah yes, me and paper.  Not the BEST relationship I've ever had! While I do love paper (real books over Kindles, journals over the computer screen), I seem to go very abstract when it comes to storing and organizing it.  I like to SEE it which isn't good.  My cats like to SEE it too and BITE it whenever they get the chance (and they appear to get LOTS of chances).

Oh and I love recycling and shredding paper too - by hand.  Not for security reasons mind you, I just enjoy ripping up the stuff AND seeing the extra space appear.  You would think I would purchase one of those mini shredders but nope.  I mean, where's the fun in that?!

Though I admit that sometimes I do print articles or large documents and then don't read them for weeks.  I do eventually get to them but not with the same urgency I had when I printed them in the first place.  Maybe it's just like my love of collecting - the hunt to find something can be just as wonderful as having it in my collection.

Just like people who make impulsive purchases (yeah I know, that's ALL of us!).  Perhaps I should just bookmark the link online and wait until the next day to print OR just read it on the screen.  I always use recycled paper but not using any paper would probably be best. *trees nod in agreement - ok, well the Willows do!*

Tomorrow I will be picking up my paintings from the salon location, having lunch out, and then running a bunch of errands in the afternoon.  Plus more time in the sunshine!!

Until Friday...

Linda
