Vaycay Hooray!
Hello there,
Thursday here and all is very good. Early morning appointment (yes, on my day off yet!), and then brunch, and errands. Usually takes me about 3 days to unwind before I can really...well...unwind!
Booking lunches and coffee tawks with pals (sorry Spellcheck, this one is gonna hurt!), and planning my time off. One day I will be picking up my art from the art salon location. Just created two more paintings so want to update the website too.
Last night I attended another amazing open mic night (comedy) - these events are so addictive! Shoutout to S! My side aches from laughing so much - again.
Writing in my journal a lot as well - you know me and GOALS! Gotta have 'em. Plus there is something wonderful about pen to paper. I've talked about journals before (you can never have too many!) and my favourite pens by ACME Studio http://acmestudio.com/ - I love finding them on eBay for a lot less than you can buy them retail. You can get the ink in any colour too - I heart green of course! My fave pens are designs of Frank Lloyd Wright and Karim Rashid. The pens write like a dream too. They even have ones that look like oversized Crayola's (those are NEXT on the list....)
However, do all of this on my time off is fabulous. Gives me great clarity and clears my mind for more fun later on.
When you have a day off, what do you like to do? I wanna know.
