Dream in Colour!
Hey there Gentle Reader,
Happy Friday to you! Heck, happy ANY day of the week to you! Don't know why we should wait until the weekend to be grin. We should smile every day. Feels good. Do eet.
You know, I really do dream in colour. Oh sure, you could say but Char or Monkey (yes, many call me this), that MIGHT have to do with the endless cups of coffee you enjoy throughout the day. Maybe. However, I like to think that I dream in colour because I don't want to miss anything. I truly love life (all the great and not so great parts) and can't wait to get up in the morning. Again, you may ask "for more coffee???" and I would say "well OF COURSE but also because I can't wait to start my day. Yes, you can pity those in my life who get the LIVE version of this keener gal in the early hours! Especially those who are more night owls. At least the kitty cats are pleased to see me. Ahem.
So.....
Dreaming in colour means really appreciating all the details in life. Those are the best bits!
Same thing when planning your weekend - the details! Interesting how we love to do our FUN "ta-da!" lists. Very easy huh? However, when it comes to the less dazzling chores, not so much. I like to embrace them all the same. Doing the routine errands gives me the time to do more exciting ones. It's all about balance.
This weekend will find me seeing a movie, some brunch (where they serve COFFEE!!), and painting. Most of my current paintings are happily housed at the location for next week's art show. Went there last night to meet with the organizer and decide on the placement, etc. Great!!! So now I want to paint some more and fill up the gallery!
For all those Moms out there (of kids and kid-tens) enjoy your special day on Sunday!
