I wanna kiss your FACEbook
Hey Gentle Reader,
Hope it is very warm in your part of the planet. VERY chilly in Toronto today and the WIND, oh my!!!! Justin Bieber WISHES he had my hairstyle today. Sigh.
Taking a couple of days off of Facebook, etc. to work on my art projects and complete other organizing. Of course NOT being connected on FB gives one an odd feeling (and by ONE I mean ME). My Facebook community is an amazing group of people I have known for years, some relatives, new friends, local pals, long-distant friends, and faces I have yet to see in person. Gets nice and cozy to see them every day even if it is just their profile pic and name.
A few of them and I play Lexulous (like Scrabble). A great routine. Others post photos of family (two AND four legged), their biggest dreams, a joke of the day, whatever they want to share. My status tends to involve the words coffee, kittens, or love. At least most of the time. I run a virtual diner a few days a week (not one of the games mind you but one that has come from my imagination and all my months at Weight Watchers - no calories in my diner!) and features all the best comfort food out there. Right now my pal Sheila is running it in my absence (truly folks, this is how I roll - I get someone to fill in for me on my pretend restaurant - you can't say I'm not responsible, even if I am odd!!)
Oh and then there is Bejeweled Blitz. One of the most addictive games on Facebook. A snazzy matching game with bright colours and sounds. Monkeys like it! You play on your own BUT your score is shared with all of your other pals who play SO there is a competition going on each week. I like it!
I've even met up with some of the new friends on Facebook and now call them regular pals. Once I meet ya, the "FB" in "FB pal" disappears.
So here I am without the Blackberry AND now away from Facebook.
*blinks*
I need more coffee!! Oh and I love kittens.
