Hey there Gentle Reader,

The birds are singing, kitties are snoozing, and the sun is shining. That's a pretty dandy way to start a Tuesday in my books!

Coffee, tea, fruit juice? Don't be shy.  Got it all! Comfy? Good. Ok, on to our chat...

I have a confession to make and I know I'm in a safe place. I'm a hugger. Yup I admit it.  A card carrying touchy-feely gal.  Well NOT with EVERYONE mind you!  However, if you're my pal then you're going to get a hug from me every time we get together.  Life gets very busy and you never know when we'll get the chance to see each other again.  I don't take anything for granted and appreciate all the time I do get to spend with my friends.  As you get older, people move around or get married or have kids and life pulls us in so many different directions.  Time is usually not our own unless we do our best to reserve some now and then.  While I love being in contact with pals via email and online chats, there is nothing, NOTHING like a sit-down face-to-face chat.   I love getting caught up with loved ones over coffee.  Even an hour is blissful when you haven't seen someone in awhile. 

Chartreuse Monkey trivia - I love eye contact so much that I won't go to a concert unless the performer can see me watching them!   My favourite line from Avatar was "I See You".   I do, I really do.  *blinks and grins*

Some of my pals are just like me SO when we get together it's like Hug-apalozza.   Even my pets are huggers - truly!  Runs in the family.

Much of the time I'm not even aware that I do it.  Here's a tip - if I really REALLY like ya, I'll be fixing your collar, rubbing your arm, playing with your hair, etc.  It's like I'm 5 again and hanging out with my bestest bud at recess.  No wonder my name is Monkey - suits me don't you think?
