Dear Oprah...
Hey there Gentle Reader,
Today I want to write an open letter to Oprah Winfrey. If you love O then you're a pal-o-mine.
Dearest Oprah Winfrey,
Do you know how much you have impacted the world for the greater good? That because of you, your show, and your words (spoken and written), you influence ALL of us to be better people, friends, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, co-workers.
Without you, we would not have "AHA" moments.
Thanks to you, in the year 2000, I contacted 2 people who touched my life many years earlier....a childhood bestfriend that I lost contact with in 1980. We've now reconnected and are closer than ever. My favourite high school teacher who told me that I was the first student to ever thank her - she was recently retired.
We now see and understand the power of gratitude and random acts of kindness.
We have become not only big dreamers but people who want to set these dreams in motion. We are no longer limited by our fears but are determined to live the best life possible.
We look forward to your shows when you give away wonderful gifts to unsuspecting people. When you surprise others with long lost loves or their idols and mentors. We cry when they cry and feel their joy.
You make us aware of the importance of spirit regardless of religion. That we are all connected.
We are constantly thrilled by your generous heart, your love for children and animals, and your endless determination to help the planet.
Thank you dear Oprah, thank you.
Linda

Hi lovely Linda,
Just tonight I saw, like, two seconds of Oprah while my cousin was flipping through her 7,000 TV channels, and I said "I can't understand how anyone could NOT love Oprah!" My cousin agreed heartily and kept on flipping the channels.
But you are so right. She is just an amazing human being!
And so are you! xx e
