No Time Like the Present!

Hey there Gentle Reader,

Already zipping along into Tuesday.  Felt a wee bit tired this morning (oh I loved that long weekend!!!).  Rainy here in the city so the weather is a bit blue too.  I'm sure the flowers are smiling. No complaints though - the last 4 days were amazing!!!!

You know, I used to be the biggest procrastinator around.  Truly.  Spent more time making lists than actually doing anything on them!  My life looked very busy AND organized on paper, but in reality, nada.

Then a few years ago, I got tired of waiting for MOI to do something so did less planning and a lot more doing.   Once I started, I realized THIS was how I really wanted to feel.  That I COULD accomplish whatever task I put my mind to.  Just like chips (mmm chips...), one is never enough!

I still adore making lists but equally love crossing off tasks (who knew?! certainly not me!)

Sometimes you have to get so frustrated with yourself and your lack of activity to take action. Once you do, there is no looking back!

Just like painting your bathroom and then noticing that the hallway could use a touch-up. Before you know it, your entire home is freshly painted!  Same thing with goals on your TAH-DAH list (yes, I DO call it that!) - the more you accomplish, the more you WANT to accomplish!!

Always good to do some tasks on your list every day.  Keeps those goal muscles in fine shape which is wonderful motivation for all areas of your life.  Plus, as we've discussed before, the more goals you have on your list, the greater tendancy to get those creative thoughts flowing too. Soon you'll discover new goals you hadn't even thought of before (the really BIG FABULOUS ones like to hide behind the smaller EVERY DAY ones.  Taking your suit to the tailors to get altered might encourage you to start making clothes again when you notice that the store as a sewing club).

So keep making those lists and anticipate crossing each item of one by one.   *hands over gold star*

Until Wednesday.

Linda
