Top 3 for 2010!
Hey there,
Happy Friday to you! Sunshine and high temps here in TO. Record-breaking numbers. All wonderful! Coffee or tea? Comfy? good. Ok, you know the drill...
Here we are into the 2nd quarter of the year (ok, that did sound rather number-crunchy) and I want to know where you are at with your 2010 goals. Especially the top 3. Wha??? you gasp! 3 goals? 3 GOALS? Even Sidney Crosby only had to have 1 in overtime!!! (see? still working the Olympics in there - better get used to it - 4 more years of this fun until the next one....)
For me, it is maintaining my new weight, working on my art (painting), and organizing my home. Well.....let's see shall we?
Weight. Ok then. I stepped on the scale tonight and it has me a few lbs up. SO gearing up the WW plan and exercise routine. So much easier to catch something like this after 3 lbs than 13 (which I DIDN'T do the last time!) I won't be overweight again because for me, too much weight is an unhappy place.
Painting...that one is taking off (eh) via friends, co-worker's, and Facebook pals. I am enjoying painting on a weekly basis now. Even painted one for a friend recently. Still smiling.
Organizing my home - a classic WIP. Went through tax paperwork and receipts this afternoon (yup...they're baaaaaaack) and have stored them in their proper folders or shredded those not needed. I heart shredding.
Being aware of our goals on a regular basis actually gives us greater peace of mind. Better to review and work on them bit by bit rather than race out the door and sprint for a bit and then have to lie down on the grass. Oh? That's not how one runs a mile in high school? Oh yesss it is my friend, yes.it.is.
For today, I want to you write out some smaller goals within your bigger dreams. Then tomorrow, complete one or two. Just the thing to keep you charged for the Spring.
Until Saturday!
Linda

Thanks for the reminder. I have a weight goal, too, which I recommitted to this very day. I need to organize, too.
I want to paint or create in some medium.
Hmm, I am noticing some similarities.
Your practical approach is inspiring. Thanks!
