Hold On for One More Day

Hi there Gentle Reader,

Do you have spring in your part of the planet yet?  We're SPRING on paper but that's about it.  Snow in northern Ontario, and frigid temps throughout the rest of the province.  Sunny for the most part though.  I heart sun.

I can't believe how many song titles I use for my blog titles. Sheesh. It's like music is the MOST important thing to me! Oh yeah, it is!

Have you ever accomplished MOST of a goal or idea and then not followed through to the very end?  Maybe finished writing the BEST EVER novel in the universe but then didn't take the final step to mail it to an agent or publisher?  Lost those 10 lbs but really wanted to say goodbye to 20?  Took those business courses to upgrade your work skills but didn't get the certificate.

Sometimes we get tired - especially if the goal has been taking weeks (or months) to complete.  Or we lose interest *SQUIRREL* or our ideas change during the process.  That can happen a lot.  You need to ask yourself though if this is a true change that will benefit you even more OR a way to distract yourself from having to commit to the outcome.  Success can be equally scary or stressful for the same reasons as failure.  Sometimes more often!

Here's the thing my friend, I want you to believe that YOU DESERVE the ultimate outcome for all of your goals. That means from A to Z, not just slowing down at R and then stopping short at W.   That won't make you happy in the long run.  You'll always wonder what would have happened if you had completed the task 100%.  The alphabet has all 26 letters for a reason!

This week I want you to dust off one of your ALMOST-goals. The one that you could take that much further and that would have amazing results if you did.

I know you can do it!

Until Tuesday.

Linda
