But Wait There's More
Hey there,
Sunday already? How was your day? Great I hope! Chilly (very) here in Toronto but sunny sunny sunny! Spent the day with some pals so you know I'm smiling.
Have you ever made your list of all the things you want to accomplish in life and then thought "Whoa! That's a lot of things. Maybe I should take some away...." Hmmm. Why? I mean life is meant to be enjoyed to the absolute fullest - there are no limits! There is no "Top 10 only" kind of thing out there. Truly. I want you to have what you want! You deserve it and more.
We've chatted about how accomplishing your goals makes you feel great and inspires you to keep reaching higher and bigger. The BEST dreams are the ones that have your grinning in your sleep.
Was in Chapters-Indigo today. Been seeing references to the book The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin all week. Finally when I saw that my friend Hellen read and enjoyed it then I knew I had to read it too. Wow! Normally I don't buy a hardcover book on impulse but this book was calling to me. That's definitely on my list - trusting the universe to know what my heart needs. Moments earlier I was looking through a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Opened a page that said "If you keep seeing a reference to a book everywhere, there is a reason why you must get it." Alrighty then - done!!
That's just the beautiful part about life - there doesn't have to be a limit on your dreams. The list can be endless. Sometimes sitting down with a pen and notepad (yeah, I'm kicking it up old school here) gives your mind a chance to run free. You just keep writing. Some ideas will trigger others that you had no idea were in there. Those are the fun ones! Don't edit or censor yourself. Don't worry if you feel others may laugh at your ideas or criticize you for wanting so much in life. I bet Oprah had more than a few well-meaning people tell her not to try to do so much. Good thing she didn't listen!
No one has to see this list but you. Well just you and the universe! I love my little green leather journal. I cart it around everywhere. Love to read through entries from 2008 and 2009. Amazing that most have been accomplished - many of which I had forgotten about!
For today, please take a piece of paper and pen and just fill up the entire two sides with all the things you would love to have in life - people, home, work, health, etc. You may even decide to start another page. Sometimes it is good to wake up the old creative side of your brain after a long sleepy winter. Just saying.
Until Monday!
Linda
