Sunshine On My Shoulder

Hey there Gentle Reader,

Well here we are on FRIDAY! Warmer here in Toronto and the sunshine is BEE-U-TEE-FULL! (again apologies to past English teachers and sorry to Spell check - I bet your headie hurts now!)

The sunnier weather certainly helps to brighten up spirits.  This morning I had no less than 3 people smile at me as I was walking to work.  Nice!  Also can inspire us to continue with our personal goals because sunshine just makes us feel better.

Always great to have two or three goals going on at the same time.  Maybe one about organizing your home office, one health-related, and a decision to change your financial situation.  Keeps it interesting and you'll be surprised how they can be quite inter-related.   While we love to arrange areas of our life in various compartments and separate lists, it isn't really that way at all.  One area will always overlap in other areas. The flipside is a good too because changing your life for the positive in one place will impact your world in the best way.   Our lives only look like pie-charts on paper (mmmm pie).

The beauty of setting and accomplishing goals is far greater than just getting stuff done (however, that is fabulous too!)   There is something about completion that is very satisfying.  Probably why I enjoy laundry so much! You put the clothes in the washer and dryer, wait (listening to music for me!), and ta-da - clean clothes!  Don't get me started on dusting though.  Aren't you creating more dust AS you dust? *shivers*

The more goals you cross off your list, the stronger your "goal" muscles become.  Your dreams can start out quiet (write two poems a week in your journal) to grand (enter two poem writing contests online per month!) The universe always needs more of YOU!  If you are an artist, writer, dancer, musician, baker, etc.  the world is waiting for your magic to show up.

Keeping yourself to well...yourself...is not honouring the person you are now and are meant to be!  I won't settle for anything less than embracing and enjoying an authentic life.  You MUST do the same!

Enjoy your Friday and we'll catch up tomorrow!  Coffee's on me!

Linda
