Sunny Daze!

Hey there Gentle Reader,

Sorry, couldn't see you very well because the SUNSHINE was in my eyes.  Yessum! Can I have a high-five please?! *smacks monitor*

I tell you, sunny days get me all giddy.  Not only because living in Canada means long winters BUT being inspired when the great weather arrives in the city.  Oh sure, it's not that warm yet (though 17C tomorrow is pretty dang fine for St. Paddy's Day) but people just smile more when it is sunny out.  Canadians are a friendly group but even happier when the snow melts and we can get outdoors to our lovely patios (both at home AND the pubs!)

Still doing lots of that indoor organizing (just HOW many receipts do I have in my place?! Sorry trees!!) but am also eyeing the balcony for some spring cleaning/decorating.  Flowers this year and maybe a coat of paint on the chairs.
 Yippee Skippee indeed!

Thinking about the "new one in, old one out" rule SO if I want that new Spring purse (something in apple green or teal) then one has got to go! This season also means new clothes so am anticipating lots of bright colours.  Will happily recycle the old ones!

Spring is also a great time to set a really fabulous new goal. Something that you can accomplish before the start of Summer (June 21, 2010).  Maybe it's organizing your guest room so your pals can visit in July.  Perhaps it is losing 10 lbs so you can wear those linen slacks you love so much. Or getting your bike fixed up so you can ride all around the city and save the environment and that TTC money (don't forget your helmet!). It is very empowering setting short-term goals as it is long-term goals.  These quick wins can help to encourage you to achieve bigger dreams in the future.

We all want lots of those right?

Top o' the mornin' to you (until St. Patrick's Day tomorrow - don't forget to wear something green!)

Linda
