Celebrate the Ordinary
Hi there!
STILL sunny in Toronto - fabulous day out and about (oot and aboot) on Yonge Street. Brunch first then walked to the Eaton Centre for some shopping. The EC was packed as were the sidewalks. Everyone was smiling. All good!
You know that I am always going on about living your BEST life and having huge exciting dreams. Still feel that way! However, I also want you to be mindful of the everyday simple things in life that sometimes we overlook. That perfect parking place in front of the restaurant, the coffee card you found in your purse that has a FREE coffee left, that double rainbow that you would have missed if you hadn't taken that new route home.
We have many of these amazing experiences all the time. Sometimes we're too caught up on that thing the boss said, or why the bank gave you that extra service charge, or even what to make for dinner to be able to truly see the details.
Details are lovely in life. If you connect them all together they just enhance your world. Like fireflies around the campfire (thank YOU Owl City for that vision!).
Having this contrast of the ordinary against the extraordinary is priceless. Pretty soon you'll be seeing everything as spectacular and that IS the life I wish for you!
Plus being mindful of the day to day routine things makes us that more appreciative of the grand spectacular ones! You'll see.
