These are the Good Times!

Hiya Gentle Reader,

Good day? Great day? Hope so! Tuesday and life is humming along beautifully over here. Yes, I just had coffee. Can you tell??

It amazes me sometimes that many people won't allow themselves to feel joy and happiness all the time.  Oh they embrace the feelings now and then but think that maybe if they like it TOO MUCH then it will disappear.   Nope, that's NOT how the universe works. There is incredible abundance of the good stuff for everyone.  True there is an equal share of heartache out there but the happy tree grows for everyone (happy tree?! Linda, where the heck did that come from?? Happy TREE? oh wait, I like it!!)

Even those that love the good times (and I don't mean the show - DY-NO-MITE!) tend to hold their breath and look for reasons why they shouldn't go for it all!  I say pish-posh.  GO FOR IT!!  The best bits about life are all the incredible experiences and memories that we cherish in our hearts.  Not the things or money but the people, the conversations, the lattes (mmm lattes - ok, these ARE things but we tend to enjoy them while chatting with PEOPLE - I rest my case).

Have you ever had a day where you woke up to your favourite song on the radio after a good nights' sleep, enjoyed toast that was golden, not burnt, noticed the traffic to the office was perfect, and your coffee for the morning was the FREE one on your coffee card? Then your day just got better after that and you were grinning all day long.  Why is it then that you can't have this day over and over? Who said it has to be rare and fleeting? I'll be honest Gentle Reader, you did.  If you only expect mediocre in life then presto - that's what you'll get.

I know you want fun and excitement and a really good hair day (the kind where strangers tell you!).  You can have it and more!

Just for an experiment tomorrow (please humour this happy-go-lucky-monkey), I want you to only see the best parts of your day.  EXPECT ONLY GOODNESS each minute and don't settle for anything less than fabulous.  Put those sunny blinders on and get out there!

Then let me know how it goes!

Linda
