Roses on a Snowy Day
Hey there,
Monday morning and snow is a-coming to this Canadian city. No worries. That's what we do here north of the border. Get snow!
Today I wanted to chat about some pals-o-mine (though NOT by name - rest assured gang!) and their sunny attitudes. Nothing is more attractive to me that people who love life. I mean REALLY embrace it 100%. We ALL have these friends in our lives who are able to cheer you up with just a smile or a few words. The emails you look for in your inbox and immediately reply to get more of that happy goodness.
Now we're all human and ALL of my pals have had their fair share of tough times - myself included. Some even going through them now. However, there's a huge difference here in that they know the rocky days won't last forever. Plus they know they have others nearby to help them through the darkness. Been there, done that, more than once!
I have known many of these great people for years but there are other new faces in the mix and this makes me smile. I've always said that like attracts like so it is wonderful to have lots of sunny people in my world. Especially in the winter! (Attention, if Spring is in the area, please pick-up the courtesy phone in Toronto. Thank you.) Also I am getting to meet new friends through other friends which is the BEST! Instant lovely communities.
So my blog today is a huge shout-out to those amazing friends in my life who truly brighten my days. Thank you for your positive outlook, your ability to see the best in everything and everyone, your ability to make me laugh, and your tremendous gift of making a major difference in my world.
You're beyond the icing on the cake -- you're the sprinkles and rosebuds too!
Until Tuesday.
Linda
