Like Attracts Like

Hey there,

Sunny Saturday here in Toronto - a bit milder too which is nice.  Of course still cold BUT we are heading in the right direction. Follow the sun!!

Doing my taxes this week (THANK YOU QUICKTAX!) but admit that my receipts, charity papers, were a bit scattered around the place.  A bunch in one drawer, some on my desk, and a few at work (WTHeck??)  You already know that I have a love-unlove thing going on with paper (AND that the cats have inherited it from me!) so it didn't surprise me that everything wasn't together.  Ok, it did a bit but seriously, one can't change these kinds of habits over night (or over years!).

At least I ALWAYS know where my Hellen Buttigieg book is - nearby!

So for NEXT year, I have a plastic envelope from the $ store, to keep all tax papers together.  I'm great with storing past years BUT not so good with current documents.

I have been starting to group similar items together.  The books are all in one room, the cds in another, and the pens (well let's just say that's a work in progress!)  I do have a tendency to kind of mix up my clothing in different areas BUT shoes are all happily housed in one space.  Whew.

Art supplies live in the same space though the camera tends to stray from the various lens and accessories.  Probably because I am always carting it around everywhere.

Work stuff tends to be a bit easier due to living in one office.

Doesn't matter where you feel is the best place to keep your items BUT it is important to store like with like.  You'll thank me at tax time!

Linda
