Hit the road LACK!

Hey there Gentle Reader,

How's life? Fabulous I hope.  All is good here in ChartreuseMonkey-Ville (my new town!)  Thursday and the sun is shining!

Have you ever found that when you have a bit of not-so-happy stuff in your life that it acts as a magnet to get more unhappy pals to join it? One big bad bill tends to find others, socks develop holes in their heels like a plague (what-the-heck?!), and the spare cash you found in that old purse this morning suddenly matches the same price as those tights you just snagged on your desk.  Sigh.

Well Gentle Reader, this is how THAT works.  The more you focus on the LACK in your life, the universe delivers more of it.  Yes,  the law of attraction can go either way - good or not so good!

So in order to balance your world, you need to really concentrate on ONLY what you WANT.  You want to be a healthy weight vs.  you don't want to gain more weight.  You want an abundance of money to enjoy your life vs. getting out of debt.  If you only see the debt (whether it be finances or additional weight), you will be telling the universe that you are ok with getting more.  The universe has GREAT hearing!

However, just a reversal of thinking helps to clear out the negative cobwebs.   Try imagining yourself at your ideal weight and actually tell yourself that you weigh this amount.   Sounds a bit crazy but trust me, it works.  Tell yourself that you have an abundance of finances and can afford anything you'd desire to purchase.  Remove the word DEBT from your vocabulary.  Think from a perspective of having all you ever wanted and needed.  Trust in the universe and the unlimited resources and riches out there.

The book THE SECRET talks about how just waking up  to the wrong song on your radio or stubbing your toe when you get out of bed can set off a negative change reaction.   Where it colours everything in an unfavourable light.  YOU have the power to change it and get back into a more positive groove.

If your mood today is all about a Pity Party of One, try stopping and just for 5 minutes, list all the positive and amazing things that you are grateful in your life.  Just 5 minutes.  Then tell me how you feel.  I am pretty sure you'll be in a different frame of mind!

Linda
