Keeping it Simple Sweetie
Hi there,
Tuesday is almost over - wild huh. Busy day at home so that explains the late blog. Kitten Jack had been under the weather for a couple of days and was off to see the fabulous Dr. Lu ViHos (Macy's vet for her whole life and now vet to Jack and Edie). Seems Jack has a wee bug (kitty cold of sorts) and is on an immune boost now for the week. Keeping a watchful eye on him and his sister Edie so she doesn't catch it too. So, coffee, tea, chilled beverage?
We've chatted before about organizing (my desire to be organized but my bigger attraction to paper clutter) and since we've all been spending A LOT of time indoors (dang winter) we can organize our stuff. Come on, you know you wanna! Part of my problem in trying to stay organized is that I sometimes complicate the process. Instead of having my camera and lens in the bag, oh noooooo, I have the camera by me (in case the kid-tens do something cute!), one lens on a shelf and another in one of my dresser drawers. Why I keep papers and books and non-clothing in my clothing drawers, I'll never know - Hellen if you are reading this, HELP!)
Here's the NEW plan. Keep like together with like and keep it simple, Sweetie! (I don't like the word stupid and we were never allowed to say it as kids - especially in the house!) My work clothes tend to stray from my closet and end up in the hall closet. So I am always herding them up and taking them back to the barn, er...clothes barn, as it were.
I am paring (pairing *giggle*) down my socks and t-shirts. So many that are either worn out, don't fit, or I never wear. Same with underwear and all that girly stuff.
I still need to get my suits taken in to fit the new me. Make-up is in one box in the bathroom and I only keep what I use.
So tomorrow Gentle Reader, take that one drawer or shelf or even box marked MISC. and start clearing it out. KISS!
Linda
