FRIDAY and all is good with Chartreuse Monkey (don't ya love it when I go all 3rd person?!) How are you doing? Hope all is lovely in your world. Sunny here but NOT warm. Brrrr....(Spring, if you can read this note, PLEASE come home.....)

One of my favourite words is synergy because yours truly is a HUGE fan of connections.  No surprise there huh?  Probably why I loved the movie "Avatar" so much.  That film is all about synergy and connections.  How our energy flows with each other and with nature and all the elements.

Synergy is what is created when people and ideas and art and life bounce off of each other and create something even bigger.  The outcome is enhanced because of the combination of forces.   I LOVE IT!  Collaboration taken to the highest form. 

We've recently chatted about inspiration and what makes your heart smile (blog on the Top 20).  Synergy is really part of that idea too.

Innovative business organizations are great with synergy.  Teachers too.  Especially musicians.  Lots of amazing collaborative work coming from artists wanting to help Haiti rebuild their future.  Actually duets was the flavour of the year in 2009 - fabulous combinations of voices and styles. This year, I plan on being very connected to my other artsy pals (here in Toronto and worldwide).  BIG THINGS are a-brewin' besides the coffee-maker!

Here's your homework for today (and you MUST have a hot chocolate as you do it. That helps!), I want you to meet up with a friend (either in person or online) and share some recent goals/dreams you have written down.  The ideas can be about absolutely anything.  I want your friend to do the same and then see if you can combine energy to help each other out.  You will be surprised at what will happen.  Usually ideas will show up from the collaboration that might never have appeared individually.
