Got Change?

Second day of the first decade. Very cool indeed. No seriously, more than cool, it is freezing here!!! Cold temperature warning in Toronto and frost-bite in minutes. Good time to stay indoors with kitten Jack (the BEST heating source). Now where is snuggie.com???
Ok, here we go....
Today's chat is about change. Not the money kind though it COULD be the money kind. More than life changes every single moment. The friendships you have now are very different from 12 months ago. They are the same people but even their lives are changing too. Some friends disappear for a bit and others will be around more. The universe has an amazing way of balancing out. In 2009, I made some great new pals, had some older friendships fade or move away and then others reappeared from the past. I don't question it at all! Doesn't always work out the way I would like it but things happen for a reason. Never say never. So much can happen in a year.
Your job can change, your physical shape, your hair, your home. Kittens grow bigger (you should SEE Jack now), children get taller, and fashion changes (or in my case, um, not very often). On January 2, 2011, I will re-read this blog and think "oh geez, did I say THAT?!" Yes I truly will.
You favourite meal this week might be the one you don't want in a few months because you'll be tired of it or are eating healthier now.
What I am really trying to say is that every part of your life changes all the time. You may think you don't like change but in actual fact you do. You like it when the scales are lower, your paycheque goes up and you meet that special someone at that training conference you didn't want to attend. When you have that GREAT hair day on the same day of the big interview after a week of rainy weather. See? Change can be a good thing.

You know Linda for some reason I was thinking of our friendship during Mass today. I mind was wandering and freezzing at the same time. Anyway a thought came into my head about how I reconnected with via Email I think I said Hey Linda remember me? and you replied I think How could I forget. Through the years you always sent me Christmas and Birthday cards and then I stopped I dont know why. I had a baby lost my job lost my dad and more and for some reason put you aside. and I dont know why. But now I feel we are stronger then ever. One reason cause of Facebook. You and Punk and Jack are in my life everyday. You all make me laugh and cry sometimes. I promise never to push you aside again
