Party like it's 1999...er 2009!
Hiya,
Well here we are together at the end of the first decade. Wow. Those 10 years certainly had a lot of life packed in 'em! Almost all of my 40's in there. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate? Hey, is that new haircut? Great! Ok let's go!!!
I am not the biggest fan of New Year's resolutions because it implies that you're not great as you are right now, December 31, 2009. Makes you feel that IF you ONLY do the things on your list, then life will be fabulous! *scratches head* How come life can't be wonderful TODAY? Why do we have to wait for a new year (or a Monday) to start living our best life ever? You will always be doing the waiting game then and tomorrow truly won't arrive. Life is fun now. PLEASE EMBRACE IT!
I want YOU (yes, YOU) to enjoy the life you have today and plan for even more adventures as the days go on. You are terrific as you are in this very instant. Celebrate YOU! You are unique, special, and amazing as you are now. Yes, getting healthier in 2010 is a positive goal (whether it be physical or even financial!) and you can get there with baby steps. Our lists always seem to have the top 3 favourites - slimmer body, more money, and love!
If you know about my Weight Watcher's journey, I didn't lose 50 lbs overnight and it was challenging at times but not impossible. Whatever your list includes, you WILL get there. I am confident of it! I'm looking forward to hearing all the details too. Have lots of coffee and time to share.
For today, I want you to enjoy your time and celebrate with the world as they ring in the new year. Endless opportunities for everyone out there. No limit to what you can do with your life. This is the real deal Gentle Reader, you just have to ask, believe, and you WILL receive! You'll see!!
Sending you happy hugs from my cozy corner of the planet to yours! Until next year *giggles* - have fun!!
Linda
