A New Decade, A New You!

Hi there,

Hope you are having a great Tuesday and are warm enough (if you live in Canada, you know what I'm saying!!) Today Toronto has a cold-temp warning which means even if you wear EVERYTHING in your closet, you will still be cold!  I am so tempted to load up on arctic/ski wear for the entire season.  Even though the closest I will come to skiing in 2010 is watching the winter Olympics (GO CANADA GO!!!!)  Luckily for me, I am abundant in flannel and have kitten Jack as my purring heat source!

Here we are just 3 sleeps to a brand new decade.  Another 10 brilliant years of adventures! Why yes I am drinking large amounts of coffee but I can guarantee you that Bailey's has NOT been added.   Keen is thy middle name!

During this last week in December, many reflect on their past 12 months.   Adding up all the positive and negative events that helped to shape our life.  Every year is a mixture of happy and not so happy times - with hopefully the smiles out weighing the tears.

While we have little control over much of what occurs in our lives, we do have control over how we react or respond to each day.  I get it though, some days are much easier to greet than others.   Even for me Gentle Reader, even for sunny little me!

SO here's the plan for 2010.  You, me, and coffee for another 365 days of coffee talks and sharing our dreams and adventures.  I know you have some BIG ones planned for this new decade.   I do too and am excited at starting another 10 years of life.  My focus will be taking my artwork to the next level.  Also maintaining the healthy weight that I achieved in 2009.  2010 will be the year to tone up and get stronger on every level - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

Today please start that list of things that you want to do in the new year - the things that will make your life brighter!  You can do it.  Would love to hear about it too.

Until Wednesday, keep smiling and keep dreaming!

Linda
