Got Snow?

Hiya,

Great seeing you on this lovely Sunday.  Got Snow? You do?? Wanna trade for something? (No, kitten Jack is not in the mix!)

I am getting a wee bit concerned about the lack of snow in Toronto and the timeline to Christmas.  Just 5 more sleeps until the big day and not a flake to be seen anywhere.   This is not good Gentle Reader.  I need snow to make the holidays just right! Especially when I can't have my weight in sugar cookies anymore because of WW.  So I want snow.   I needs it.  Baaaaad.

All sparkly and glittery and such.  A perfect sight on Christmas morning or (EVEN BETTER) to enjoy on Christmas Eve.  I'm even happy to give up the Converse sneakers for boots.   Well not happy per se BUT will do so for the greater good.

Many of my US pals on the eastern side of the country are shoveling themselves out from under many inches of the fluffy stuff - even a few feet in others.  Today I did see snow on some car rooftops, however, these folks drove in from the suburbs.  Snow teases....

So I am now subscribing to enough weather newsletters to see when Frosty will be arriving.  So far nada that I can see.  I am even checking those long-range weather forecasts (LOVE those ones!)   Nope.

Waiting patiently, waiting p*a*t*i*e*n*t*l*y.....sigh.

However, the malls aren't hurting for lack of snow.  They are packed today with frenzied shoppers who know that THIS weekend is the last one before Christmas.

My shopping is done thankfully so I am just hoping that a bit of the white stuff starts falling soon.  Oh and stays. That too!

Time to check more of the those weather updates.   If YOU have snow in your part of the planet, please don't hesitate to send my way!

Until Monday!

Linda

I can't wait for the snow too! I want to be stuck inside, in my PJs, with my kitty cats all around me, reading romance books, watching movies, eat chocolate and do nothing basically!
