One Level Up from Happy
Hi there,
Welcome! Hope you can stay for awhile. Chilly huh? Yeah, that's how we roll in Canada! Makes you wish for a Snuggie. Aw come on, you know you do! There are ones for pets now but I digress (my favourite hobby - digressing not Snuggies).
2009 is winding down (or is it 2010 is winding up?) Either way we are saying goodbye to one decade and starting a new one on January 1st! Pretty exciting stuff.
For me, this year has been quite the whirlwind but most of it planned. On paper, in my journal. I am at an age where writing ideas down is not only practical but necessary! I love writing in journals so this makes me happy. A reason to write! Also a reason to keep the paper people in business and you KNOW how much I love the paper people.
This was the year that kitten Jack landed, that I made some wonderful new friends, and my artwork took a new and positive direction - out of my head and actually onto the canvas. Who knew! Now my photography has been primarily focussed on kittenhead Jack (literally) but that will change in 2010. My collection of photos on him alone is well into the 1000's. In 2010 I am planning on creating a kitten Jack book to showcase his first year. Been checking out www.blurb.com and they seem to have some pretty amazing deals (plus pals recommend them highly). Will keep you posted. You can self-publish your own book!
So in 2008 I had my moments of happy but in 2009 I upgraded to the next level. Whatever that is called. Giddy? Bliss? Joy? Don't want to label it because it keeps getting bigger, better, brighter! How about we just call it LIFE? Yes, LIFE. I like it.
I am still planning fabulous dreams for 2010 only this time the ideas are being recorded and given timelines. No more wishful thinking or hoping that things turn out a certain way. You'd be surprised how much control you have over your own life. It is YOUR story!! You should be able to write the chapters.
Have a wonderful Tuesday and hope to see you on Wednesday!
Linda
