Serendipity is my BFF
Hi there,
Happy Saturday to you (or Sunday if you are living in Melbourne!)
Today I visited my parents and on the way there, ran into two friends. One was a co-worker that I haven't seen in 3 years. The other was one of my kitty momma pals whom I am starting to see on a regular basis without actually planning it! DK, it has been 3 times now right?
I am a HUGE fan of serendipity - those supposedly chance meetings when you are thinking of someone one day and the next day see them on the same subway car, Or you get a letter in the mail, or they call out of the blue. I'm all for stuff out of the blue.
It's all about the timing too - when the universe feels it is right or knows you need something (and it might not be what YOU feel you need, mind you!), well it will come.
The last 12 months has been 365 days of serendipity - everything from finding kitten...er...KITTY Jack, to my website, my art, reconnecting with old friends and discovering new ones, etc. These kinds of chance encounters aren't that rare. They are in your life EVERY single day. You just have to be ready to see them and then act upon them. Trust your intuition! When that person who smiled at you in the bookstore line-up, runs into you again at Starbucks two days later, well, say hello. When you see that ad for the perfect job and then you find out that a friend of friend works in that company, then call them! Once you start noticing these amazing situations, you'll see them all the time.
Keep smiling and we'll get together tomorrow. I promise!
Linda

Ah indeed...serendipity was at work today.
So nice to bump into you once again this weekend, so sorry I couldn't stay and chat!
Hugs to all,
