Time in a Bottle....

Hey there,

Tuesday looks good on ya. Just saying!

You know, every morning before work, I write this blog.  I'm sure there are bloggers who pre-write their posts days in advance. Where the HECK is the fun in THAT?! Oh sure, they are organized, and probably get 7 hours of sleep each night (lucky ducks!) BUT seriously, these people are NOT living on the edge!

I treasure every single minute of every single day.  I let many years go by while "waiting" for life to happen.  Not anymore! Life is happening all around us, all the time.  Some chose to be participants but many like to sit on the curb and watch the parade march by.  This gal is dusting off her cymbals and dancing along!

The only challenge for someone who USED to procrastinate about everything is that you always feel like you're in catch up mode!  Even for those lovely days off (much needed Linda time), I always have my "to-do" list in hand (please see yesterday's blog for the newbies), and feel that a day isn't productive unless many items are checked off!

So 2009 was MY YEAR to start kicking it into high gear and reaching those life goals.  The bucket list I guess though didn't know it was called that back then!

Got off that curb and started marching. Slowly at first then added some music and then went full swing!  Sure, there are times when that curb looks mighty comfortable BUT we're moving in a different direction now and it's all good.

I have accomplished so much this year and it's only November.  With friendships, my art, my bond with my parents, everything!  Kitten Jack keeps me hopping too (and a wee bit sleep deprived but you know that already!)

What's on your "bucket list" and what do you want to accomplish this year?  Time to get off that curb!

Until Wednesday (Jack's First Birthday!)

Linda

I like lists but I keep on adding to it, it doesn't end. There is just too much to do, and not enough time.
My three major major goals this year was to go see my family in France for a month, lose weight and pay my line of credit. I failed the last one but that's okay 2 out of 3 is alright to me.

    Next year's goals:
    - pay off my line of credit
    - go to Portugal with my Mom for a month
    - get my Canadian citizenship papers
    - and of course keep the weight off!

Sylvie that's a great list! 2 out of 3 is pretty darn fine.  I love your list for 2010 too.  Mine is:

      NYC visit in November
Have my first art exhibit in a local gallery
Keep the weight off! (same boat there)
Write a book on Kitten Jack and have it published

Have you ever tried to get your paintings at the AGO Art Sales & Rental? They are close to the AGO at University and Dundas -I used to volunteer at the Art Sales..
