The Inner Circle
Hey there,
Glad you're back! How was your Tuesday? Good day, bad day or just a day? Sometimes it is just a day! However, we have a new one now to try again!
We all have that inner circle of friends and family that are like a lovely protective bubble around us. Oprah has one - Gayle, Maya Angelou, Tina Turner, Steadman, and her doggies. Paul had one - Linda, John, Ringo, and George - sorry Yoko! Rachel too - Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, and Joey, well, you get the picture!
Your inner circle has different levels and each person (or pet!) plays various roles. You have that one BFF that you can call at any time and chat about nothing but it feels like something:
Phone rings "Teal or Lilac?" You: "Teal, brings out your eyes." Pal "You're right, later!"
No need for formalities with the Inner Circle - they just get you. There is an amazing comfort level. Doesn't matter if you have known the person for years, for months, or met them last week at Yoga. It is a connection, a bond, an understanding.
Sometimes people come and go in the circle, and then your circles might have circles - sounds complicated but it's not!
You carry those pals around with you all the time. They are the ones on your speed dial. The ones in your heart.
Men just have one big circle of everyone they have ever met. Kind of like a cruise ship of pals that floats merrily along. Women, on the other hand, have their core circle, their satellite circles, and then other circles that just hover nearby. At any time, you can move from one circle to the next. They overlap too. Such is the joy of the Inner Circle!
Who's in YOUR Inner Circle?
WW tonight but I am thinking that maybe it is plateau time. We'll see!
Hope your day brings you joy AND you get to connect with those in your own Inner Circle.
Until tomorrow!
Linda
