Back on Track....

Hi there!! Hope you enjoyed a fabulous Sunday. Welcome back!

Here we are at the start of a new week and personally I am glad for it.  Learned something very interesting about myself yesterday...

Seems that a combination of an extra long weekend (took two days off) and the change of season makes me forget that I am in Weight Watchers! Well not COMPLETELY but certainly not as mindful as I have been for the past 6 months.  Usually I have one meal out per week (the important word being ONE) where calories don't count.   This past week I had the pleasure of having dinner out with pals on two nights back to back.  Then the food party kind of tumbled into the weekend.  Plus I exercise on the weekdays and somehow didn't "see" the bike for 4 days. Hmmm.   For some reason, "Old" Linda was waiting in the wings...well...FOR wings!

Now I realize that it took me a lot of years to gain the extra 50+ lbs and in almost 6 months I have lost 38.  I am so proud of that loss!  I am also very determined to lose the remaining 12 lbs and am definitely back on track today. The scale may be up on Wednesday but that's ok.  Lesson learned!

Make it a great Monday and we'll catch up again tomorrow.

Take care,
Linda

Hi Linda! I didn't track this weekend because I forgot my WW tracker at work -I know it's not an excuse.. Didn't exercise either! I hate exercising, that's probably why it has taken me 2 years to lose 24lbs!
I went to Nuit Blanche downtown and I was so disappointed, big crowds, line ups and uninspiring exhibits. I think I'll pass next year. I'll wait until it attracts more interesting artists.

      Hi Sylvie,
I wanted to see the carnival rides on Bay Street but otherwise was content to stay indoors! Maybe next year we'll both go!
Today I am back on WW. See you on Wednesday!
      Linda
