The Cat's Pajamas

Happy Sunday to you!

Yesterday I spent the ENTIRE DAY in my flannel pajamas! My big oversized comfy blue ones with the snowglobes on them.  Totally out of character for me but something that just felt right for the day.  Very rainy Saturday, a couple of later evenings on Thursday and Friday (and by LATE I mean after 9pm!), and no real desire to venture out the front door.  Kitten Jack was extra snuggly too.  Usually my Saturday has a huge to-do list but I just didn't look at it once.  I am such a rebel....

The change of seasons always seems to make me want to hibernate. Perhaps I was a bear in a previous life!  I only know that when the colder weather arrives, I want to eat and nap and repeat as necessary.

On Saturday I did some major computer housekeeping.  Moved over 1000's of photos to an external storage system.  My computer is heading towards 7 years so I am always trying to give it more life!  I bought an external hard drive and decided to move months and months of photographs over for safekeeping.  When you are a photographer WITH a kitten, you have A LOT of photos!

Still in that organizing mode!  I recently ordered Hellen Buttigieg's book "Organizing Outside the Box: Conquer Clutter Using Your Natural Learning Style" and it will arrive this Tuesday.  I can't wait!!! I have enjoyed Hellen's show NEAT for years so am looking forward to reading her book.  http://www.amazon.ca/Organizing-Outside-Box-Conquer-Learning/dp/192664509X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254659943&sr=8-1

Watched a marathon of the show HOARDERS where people aren't able to throw out anything, ever! The saddest episode was of a 7-year-old boy who loved every toy he ever had.  Couldn't part with anything without deep emotional pain as if he were casting away a friend.  Luckily the doctor and his mom were able to help him.

Today is laundry day and a bit of that to-do list from yesterday.  Sometimes it is very good to spend the day in your pjs!!!

I might be on Facebook later so you can catch me at ChartreuseMonkey Iam.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and we'll get together tomorrow!

Linda
