Kitten Jack is just 4 weeks away from his BIG first birthday. Been a very long time since there was a kitten in my life. 17 years to be exact and I had forgotten how much or "NOT sleep" you get in the first year. Many think I am giddy on life (which I AM) however, mix many cups of coffee and limited hours of rest AND you get, well, ME!
I have shared my life with many lovely kitties and doggies during my 48 years on this planet but Jack takes the (birthday) cake. He is the MOST affectionate kitty cat ever. The sweetest love bug of all. I am very blessed!
If you are lucky enough to have a four-legged family member (or two wings, or fins or scales or any other kind of animal baby) you understand how much animals can enrich your life. They get into your heart and live there happily ever after.
Plans today including meeting up with an online pal for the first time. VERY EXCITING! A visit to Kensington Market earlier and a movie on the weekend - am thinking of Ricky Gervais in THE INVENTION OF LYING or Drew Barrymore's WHIP IT. Definitely a comedy.

Time has really flown by this month. It seems like just yesterday we were walking in the rain and playing with Kitten Jack.
Those are great memories I will always cherish.
