Rain rain go away....

Hello there! Welcome back and thank you for being here today.

Well if you're in Toronto or the GTA, you woke up to a major wind/rainstorm and this is going to be some kind of FUN walking to the office. 6 lovely blocks for me! By FUN I mean of course not the HA HA kind except for those in cars who will be watching those of us battle with the elements.  Hair will be in a ponytail and I will have on my hoodie and rain jacket.  Sigh.

Of course Sir Jack will be watching from the window and keeping his PURRFECT fur just right.  Lucky boy!

Yesterday saw Tim Burton's animated movie "9" (animation is amazing, story - well doom and gloom but with hope at the end), then walked over to WORD ON THE STREET at Queen's Park.  A huge park filled with authors, illustrators, Canadian writing groups, magazines, music, and FOOD!   For those who know I am in WW (heading towards 40 lbs down...) the yummy kiosks were sooo tempting but I walked away - ok slowly walked away.  I was fine until I spotted the Tiny Tom donuts.  OH MAN, I avoided the CNE this summer  to just stay safe.  Who knew they could pop up anywhere!!!
http://www.tinytomdonuts.com/  One of my favourite childhood summer treats.  Mmmm donuts....ok, moving on....

A busy week for this gal.  Always listen to 104.5 CHUM FM while in the office http://origin1.chumfm.com/Listen/chumfm_listen.htm - you can listen from outside the Toronto area too!

Keep smiling today! The world always needs more smiles.

Oot and aboot in the big city of Toronto

Linda

Congratulations on your new-born blog. It looks promising. I strongly believe that every one has interesting stories to tell. I am sure, you have plenty of them, too. Please keep up the good work.
