Welcome to Planet Chartreuse Monkey...
Welcome to the musings of Chartreuse Monkey! No, this isn't my birth name though I WAS a child of the 60's! How about if you just call me Linda.
This idea really started in January 2009 as a "Blog for 1" - when you're middle-aged and decide that getting a Siamese kitten would be a FAB way to start the new year, you want to share your joy! I did so daily with a new friend for those first 9 months (thank YOU!) Now the timing is right to take this fun to the next level as the kitten (aka Jack or Sir Jack) turns 1 in early November. The party preparations have already begun and Jack even has his own Peeps on Facebook. Seriously....I am one of those people....
This would be the time to step away from the computer...
Still here? Good!
Yes, like Susan Boyle, I am also a 48-year old cat lady except I can't sing. Now you'll be able to tell us apart. Problem solved. Now back to the blog....
Here you'll get lots-o-Jack stories, my thoughts on my artwork (paintings and photographs), and just about everything else! No topic is too big or small.
So pull up a comfy chair, get your coffee cup (or tea!), and join me for a lovely virtual visit.
I want to hear your thoughts too, what inspires you, what makes you laugh (and cry).
And to the pal who originally inspired me to blog my kitten Jack stories, well words are not enough.
Thank you for your visit!
Warm wishes,
Linda

Welcome to the land of blogging! Sometimes, a person needs more than 140 characters or a global networking site with the attention span of a gnat for expression. I'm looking forward to reading your words, my friend.
Have fun and send my regards to your muse, Jack.

Yay! Linda you really are a ray of sunshine! I can't wait to read your daily smiles. That's one of the things I miss most about doing 365...leaving those daily snippits of my life on my SPs. Perhaps this will inspire me to try keeping up with my blog again.
